They care about making money.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I heard a speech by JFK somewhere about how the media is the only private business explicitly mentioned in the constitution and how they have utterly failed in holding their responsibility.  I can&#039;t comment on whether or not I agree with that without causing a huge debate about capitalism.  However, it is worth noting that most citizens are informed by the media.  And the media stopped caring about real politics a long time ago.</description>
