		<description>I don&#039;t think they need to publicly cut ties with the religious right; I think the religious right should still be a part of the party. However, their rhetoric should be removed from the platform. I don&#039;t see it happening as a public decision, more of an increasing number of viable candidates simply not using the language.</description>

		<description>I&#039;d love to see these things happen, and some of them might happen.  But I cannot see the GOP anytime in the near future separating itself from the religious right.  It&#039;s such an organized, united, huge group of supporters that financially it might not make sense for them to cut ties publicly.</description>

		<description>I agree. There&#039;s no way the party remakes itself to the point it can beat&lt;br&gt;Obama in 4 years. The only hope is if Obama screws up, and, personally, I&lt;br&gt;really don&#039;t want that to happen.</description>
